Hello all,

I am running the 8.0.1 version of WWSM. It was a digital download from Boonty.

I then downloaded an updated database from sortitoutsi.net with actual competition and league names. However, when I try to edit this database to create myself in the game using the official data editor, I only manage to save all of the old league and competition names. I can't edit the database that I downloaded with all of the new names.

The files I replaced when putting in the new database were all of the .lnc files "fake", etc.

Anyone know how to resolve this problem? Please?

I know about FMM, but it doesn't seem to be working with WWSM2008....

I think you're getting a bit confused. Replacing the .lnc files is not the same as replacing the database. These are just text files which cause a few things in the database to be changed when the game loads. The actual database remains the same.

Therefore when you go into the editor, everything will looks as it did before. Just go ahead and add yourself into the database like you intended to and start a new game.

You should find that you are in the game and the actual competition names are still there as well.
