Not done this for a few versions and i'm sure this has been answered before but you know what the search function is like on this forum. I've had a browse but i'm still not certain what exactly i've done wrong.

I'm on my 3rd failed attempt now so I need your help.

Basically I am trying to put 3 new teams into the Conference North. 1 is a team I have created, the other 2 are already in the database - Leeds City and Garforth Town.

I used the swap function to swap 3 teams out and put my 3 teams in.

The game seems to work but it crashes on around (probably the same) date each time. Unfortunately i've missed this both times but it is around September/October time.

I've just checked my amendments and I can only see 1 possible error where I missed ONE of my new Conference North team's previous league positions. I'm not sure how this would relate to it crashing ?

Do I need to alter the history on the clubs removed about the 'last division' they played in or anything ?

Could it be something else simple ? The game actually crashes out completely and I get the crash dump message.

I've never had this problem myself but I've seen a lot of people saying that "previous league position" and "last division" need to have something there, to prevent crashing.

I don't think it needs to be totally accurate or anything - just make sure there is something there

Thanks, i'm just running a holiday game again to see if it is going to crash.

I left the previous league blank. I presumed this didn't matter because a couple of the teams in the conf north/south by default don't actually have anything in those fields.

I'll give that a try if my latest attempt doesn't work.
