It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Thanks mate, you gotta remmber that I designed all four of my tactics around WestHam, so when i saw this challenge I thought it would be a walk in the park.

I go for the Sven/ManCity approach....team not good enough? Buy a new one!

BTW what size are your screenshots? mine seem a little too big at 800x600.

Cleon, can we talk man to man?, i could e-mail you and give you my telephone number or vice versa.

I just dont want to end up getting banned?. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Nope I have nothing to hide. I'm done helping you now or trying to convince you. You have your opinion I have mine.

But I'm a beta tester for SI so they don't think I cheat obviously..... </BLOCKQUOTE>

I bet SI just love you, you make the game look so good!.

How have you helped by the way?, why even show how you were getting on, players bought, tactics, training etc if at the end of the day this would do me no good?.

I have NEVER had to cheat at this game and i certainly would'nt do it just to impress some soppy kids on here who now think your gods gift to FM

Mugs!. </BLOCKQUOTE>

I posted them because you was supposed to be doing the same. Hence we can see the contrasting styles and see how we differ from each other. Like I said get concrete proof that I cheat or shut up.

I've never had to cheat and never will, theres no need to, once you know the AI you can out smart them 90% of the time.

But meh think what you like I don't care less really.

I posted mine as links not images so they seem smaller

West Ham have lots of potential I never realised before. There not a side id normally look twice at, glad I did though

I'd just like to point out that my tactics are almost the complete opposit of cleon's, he's playing fast/direct/narrow/counter-attacking football....I'm playing slow/short/wide/build-up football.

Before this thread get closed I would like to ask Cleon a question I am doing ok with Boro my one main problem is that when I win the ball back then loose it straight away all my players seen to go out of position because I have won the ball back.
Any suggestions of what I could be doing wrong?

Thanks for what it is worth I dont think you are cheating you are just very good at the game.

Cleon do you always watch games like that.Very crazy.

I've been doing a bit of research on cleon and he has been writing and playing these games very well for as far back as it will let me see.

Check his account on the dugout if you wish to see.

Well done cleon very intresting. Sometimes when people don't understand something they want to blame someone.

Lookforward to your views on 08.

BTW im a soppy kid

If they go out of position when you have the ball then you may have given them too much creative freedom and too mnay forward runs etc.

If they go out of position when you don't have the ball then you probably have closing down set too high.

NB: Players will always go otu of position, it just depends to what extent you want them to.

I never once called you a cheat, but since you actually work for SI, it all makes perfect sense now. Not only are you a mod, but you're SI's lobbyist! It sure is convenient for them that you defend the game to the hilt and then create these posts where you miraculously win the league with Sheff Utd and the like then claim to be able to do so with any team. I smell fish.

I've no need to cheat, if I loose I loose. If I was cheating surely id want to win the cups too? I know I would if I cheated, id want to win everything. And yes you soppy kid i'm god please to meet you.

Collymore -How are you giving the ball straight back? Maybe you wanna start a new thread and upload a few PKM's and i'll take a look if you like.

I don't work for SI. If I don't like an aspect of the game I say so, wether I'm a mod or not. SI don't own me or tell me what to say, all they ask me to do in enforce the rules of the forum thats all.

Everything else is my own views and opinions. I don't defend the game to the hills as there are many faults I just defend what I think is right from the wrong you say. But unlike you if I find something wrong I don't go from thread to thread crying and bitching about it. I do something useful and email a saved game, screenshots, pkm's and an explanation to SI stating things.

I'm not getting into a row with you anyways as you are boring. So either contribute to the main discussion and the main reason of this thread, or just don't post at all.
