hello all, i created a tactic with arsenal in my second season with the aim of playing the ball in small triangles between players to help retain possession. as they say if you got the ball they can't score.

In my first season i finshed 3rd with 66 pts miles behind the other 2 teams chelsea and man utd.
in my second season i have played 22 won 18 drew 3 and lost 1. scoring 52 and goals against is 12.
the tactic is basically the CB stay back at all times with the dm giving the protection. the dm is also the link between defence and midfield. the RB and LB are on mixed forward runs along with the rest of the team. its short passing for CB's and RB and LB rest of team on mixed. Defensive line is 3 notches left from starting position. i play narrow and tempo is 2 clicks to the right.

also im not sure how to upload the tactic for those who want to try it. as i would like some feedback.
To maximize you chances of playing this way you need players with good passing and technique. Arsenal have these types of players but they do not have much back up. I would make sure you strengthen you squad if playing this way.

The DMC would have to be very very good; I would be concerned about using a narrow formation. You would need to play a slightly higher tempo in my opinion but that’s just me thinking out loud.

well im 24 games into my second season of using this tactic and have changed to the standard 442 attacking formation. nothing i did with 41221 formation worked i was either drawing or losing. im now 3rd after changing tactics but i am 12 pts behind the leader.
