I am in season 2 and I am currently managing West Ham. To cut a long story short I am in the month of February into the season and I seem to have a re-occuring problem. I never drastically change my tactics and up until the December of the season I was cruising in the league top of the table etc etc. Then all of a sudden I just could not score (No changes to tactics) & still cannot seem too that often, so I am starting the slippery slope down the league. As I said above not tinkered too much only to try and rectify my prob but I have also reverted back to my original tactics but to no aveil. Anyway my question is in every match I always get at least 1 or 2 one on ones but my players are never scoring them. It is encouraging that the chances are being created but also frustrating as I am now not scoring them like I was previously. Can anyone offer any advice on a part of the tactics that could assist with this prob. Thanks. For reference I am creating plenty of chances in the games quite often getting the super keeper thing as well, but always play with a slow tempo as well.
But I thought increasing the tempo would decrease my 'shots on target' and also increase the odds of getting the super keeper scenario as your shots are rushed?
Increasing the tempo should give you more shots at goal in total, but your correct in the amount of accurate shots will be less.
If you are creating your chances don't change a thing yet. Id like to know who your strikers are, what settings they are using and a screenshots of the stats for them players in your game woul be of help.
One on one chances are tricky as this all relies on the players stats compared to the goalkeeper stats 90% of the time. I'm guessing your players might have low composure, concentration etc.
