I've done them before just not on here. But yes it will be detailed I hope, each week id look at a different team in depth. Hopefully a lot of people will join in off here, it would give us some great talking points and be a good way to understand more about the match engine.

I was alos thinking once a month we might all try attemtping to recreate a famous tactic too something like W-M, Swiss Verouu etc. Would people be interested in that sort of stuff?

It's just crossed my mind... People often want and try to replicate some real football tactics in FM but realtively rarely have success. So it could be usefull to have discussions on real life - game tactic translations, at least for the most famous tactics (i.e. Barca, W-M, Arsenal-style, etc.). What do you think?

I would like a discussion on a real-life tactic as well, like I know Diaby off fm-britain is planning on a Milan style tactic for FM08, maybe on these forums we could have a Rijkaard style tactic or smething

Yes, but the problem is people are often lost in translation . Many threads I have read on similar subject lack one thing - step by step approach to replicate the tactic. That is people either develop something that work great, say, for Arsenal in the game though quite different from Arsenal's real life style, or get frustrated settings that look like Arsenal's real life tactic don't work in the game.

Btw, step by step approach does not mean posting final product for download, but rather systematic discussion how to implement some small details (i.e. Lemman's horrible mistakes ).

There is nothing stopping anyone creating a discussion like that, if they choose to create one

If 08 is anything like 07 feedback wise, I think a thread dedicated to identifying the CAUSES of problems rather than the solutios would be most helpful.
