I got a striker who is great according to the assistant manager. (Jhon van Beukering) but his shot on target is only 27% and he's scored 1 goal in 17 matches. Now i've tried to change all kinds of settings in individual preferences but all fail.
I've currently got him on 4 notches back on creativity and 2 up for attacking. Also closing down is very low (6 notches) but still doesnt work even though he gets at least 4-5 chances a match.
Now the problem is that the transfer deadline has passed and i dont got great funds.
And even though with a relegation candidate i am currently 6th in league i want my striker to finish more chances then I would've won way bigger matches.
So... my question is ... should I buy nice striker(s)? or give other settings in ind.settings?
ps. Just bought 2 brazilian strikers who have decent ratings but that dont come for another 1-2 months.
And also I decided now to save and quit cause I really need help... in how far should I change my tactics halfway through season? Seeing form dropped and I tumbled down to 12th place.
I always set my strikers to cross ball often, then when they are in awkward position they are more likely to play the ball across the box than go for a shot that will never go in.
