I have a question for you Cleon since this thread is already open. What do you think of using a target man and a playmaker at the same time - different players mind you.

Works well and if you use a fast striker along side the targetman he can easily score 40+ a season if set up right. I used to use this way, but I have tried to eliminate targetmen from personal games now as its too boring and predictable and you cannot fail really.
I nearly always used to use target men, as quite frankly it always works in order to score goals. So what I do is use it as a last resort.
From what you and Dayle have said, would it be a good idea having a target man (physical player) and have a play maker along side him (goal scorer/quick). Is that what you are saying?
I don't think deal meant 1 striker a playmaker the other a targetman, I think he was just on about using both ina team. Unless I am wrong which I apoligse
No cleon, you were right. I'm thinking of a centre midfielder - Carrack for example as playmaker (which is working a treat at the moment for me) and a target man up front (Trezeguet - with Rooney the fast man alongside).
