I prefer playing short and slow, and to kill games off even slower and shorter. If I'm in need of a goal, direct and quick.

Depends a lot on your country, division, formation, players, the opposition (sometimes) and many other aspects of your tactical set up: mentality, forward runs, counter attack, width, defensive line - though one could say that these things may depend on your passing/tempo, depending on how you look at it.
