How many of you use this, i just played a friendly with bolton with them seemingly at full strength and beat them 2:1, i had closing down their forwards and hard tackling and show on to weaker foot, i also did this for their wingers. I never thought opposition instructions worked but looks like it does.

I personaly feel its a must against good teams with quality players, i always use opposition instructions as part of my pre match set up.

Just wish they could be set as default in the tactics.

Surely most teams would usually close down forwards and wingers?

I used it against championship side cardiff, (i`m port talbot), in the quarters of the FAW PREMIER CUP, i didn`t think i`d win, lets face it it was the equivalent of man u playing halifax but i not only won, i also beat wrexham in the semis and lost to swansea in the final, the first time my team had ever reached that final. i will use it more now i know it does make a difference.

I use the following primarily v. good teams away:

Strikers: hard tackle, weak foot, maybe man mark if great header

Wingers: close down, show to opposite foot

MC: close down if high long shots

I`ve started doing exactly that against top teams like Llanelli who were a team that i only beat every so often but now i`ve played them 3 times, 2 in cup comps and beat them, around the 80th min i put time wasting up 14 clicks. The one thing i don`t understand is when you set hard tackling, weak foot, close down and the others, is it all the defenders together as a unit that do that or do you have to change something in your tactics setup?
