i am playing with fiorentina and have just finished season 1. have bought barzagli for 11mill and he had a fantastic season.

now in july of second season million offer for barzagli, i don't really want to sell him so i negotiate to 40 million over 24 months to scare them off. every interested team including chelsea withdrew their bid except for milan.

to my surprise they did offer 40 million over 24 months.

now i don't know what to do. what do you suggest?

he is world-class and very hard to replace, if you were to sell him though try for 50mill+ with a percentage fee :thup:

Whats the point? Who are you going to get instead of him? You can only play one instead of Barzagli and unless you get John Terry, there's nobody who can come close to him. Unless you're VERY short of options in the other positions and dont have money to fill them adequately, then hold on to him with all your life!

There's not a defender in the game that I wouldn't sell for £40m, there's always somebody as good to replace them for less money - you just have to scout and be patient.

From what I remember, whilst Bazagli's CB stats are good, the rest are terrible so he's never really fit into my team. I always buy players with great passing, team work and anticipation so they can just dance around the pitch zipping short passes to each other.

o would try and keep him in your team he is a world class player and it would be hard to find someone like him for your team

He is an absolute legend but you can still get a new defensive pair with 40 mln.I would suggest garay and one between gonzalo rodriguez or kompany if you sell him.
