Most have a few players that despite having not-so-great attributes, play brilliant football. Who are yours? Mine are:
Julien Ielsch (DL) - signed him as a backup in a game and he took over the starting job midway through the season and never looked back. Despite not having the attributes of players I had and got in the future, he always overperformed for me.
Eddie Johnson (ST) - Everyone knows him but what makes him score against even the best opposition? His physical attributes are great but the rest are mediocre at best, yet hes one of the best budget strikers in the game once again.
Lee Cook (AML) - Average left winger based on attributes but he always makes something happen in game, cemented a spot on my Fulham side by proving hes a game winner off the bench time and time again.
Mads Junker (ST)- seems to score for fun putting him up in top scorers in the Eridivise even though he has pretty poor attributes and is nowhere near best striker in Eridivise.
I have Leek Cook for my coventry side in second season and plays really well but his attributes are really good, Dribilling 20, Pace 16, Acceleration 16, Crossing 16, Corners 16, Passing 17, Creativity, 16, Technique 15. Was like that when I bought him from fulham so he must have imporved a lot while there and was a bargain at 1 million as they didnt play him once in first season.
Some players will play better depending on moral and if they're happy at the team. On my Rushden game for 07 player called 'something' Jackson lol.
His stats are awful but he was the top scorer for me 2 seasons running till i just had to get rid of him for the sake of the team getting any further lol. A good little scorer and he got into the England u21's for it... never played mind but thats not my problem lol
Agbonlahor, fast, but 40+ plus goals in each of the first 4 prem season, followed by 3 seasons with no more than 8.... What a case of a young kid getting too big for his boots and ****ing it all up.
