Hi all- I'm currently about to start my 2nd season with Hull. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to these games. However 1st season I came 21st- so survived. This season I fancy doing a bit better.

I have £1.2m to spend this summer, and basically wondered if anyone knows of any decent championship standard players
I could go for. Or any general tips to succeed in the Championship.

I think I could do with a GK, maybe a decent RB along with an attacking midfielder who can play on the left. A striker wouldn't go a miss either.

Any help would be great!

Have you checked out the free transfers section. Always good for an up and coming manager with an up and coming team. Especially good if you need to add some bulk to your squad.

What's the state of your wage budget at the moment?

25K is currently being put forward for wages.

I have roughly 700k to spend, maybe over £1m if Marney goes.

If he's still available, Marc Heider from Werder Bremen is a very handy squad player who can play either up-front or on the left.

I normally buy him at the start of the first season for just £3k!
