im celtic. have saivet season 2 (18yearsold) worth 1.8 mil. accordin to assman best striker. 11 games 5 goals. doing very well and loads of assists.
dribbling - 18
finishing - 16
pace - 17
etc
i have been offered 5 mil + 50 percent by barca
i have as backup zeefuik, torje, sergio mota, thaigo (brazilian hes just signed today slightly better than saivet at 20.) so i have other youth backup. so should i sell before he becomes really good with my team and i can potentially get 10-15 mil out of the 50 percent. (btw the scottish league has very low value for players so 5 mil is a lot here, though i dont actually need the 5 mil coz i havee 16 mil remaining.) should i sell him?
i would say no cos you think you might benefit from that 50% but chances are you wont greatly cos barca dont normally sell players or they sell them once they get crap (either old or sat on the bench for 5 years) so they wont go for anything like the 20-30mill you are hoping for.
that is just my experience however but if hes playing well dont sell him, even if on paper you have almost as good strikers they may well not perform like him, maybe different style so may mess up the rythm of the team.
so to summarise i agree with ypresfr say No, and hope he dont get ****ed off.
