Thought i'd start an update, i've had a couple of cans of Guinness so if the spellings a bit off then forgive me. I'm quite a way in so I'll keep them brief.
DC United 2006 - 2007 MLS
Took about 2 months before I realised that MLS was Sh\t and left
East Fife 2006 - 2007 Scottish Div 3
Took over in March and they where bottom of the league, they where still there come the end of the season.
East Fife 2007 - 2008 Scottish Div 3
Signed a handful of lower league Scots but with the only cash available that which the Chairmen found down the back of a sofa it’s hardly surprising, finished a respectable (and surprising) 6th.
Cups - Sucked
East Fife 2008 - 2009 Scottish Div 3
Board takeover and some small investment meant I could make a couple of purchases and my training facilities where improved. Finished 4th (promoted after winning playoffs)

Bizarrely and for no apparent reason other than luck I gained promotion again finishing 3rd and winning playoffs. I was ready for a relegation dogfight and had no cash to spend but for some reason we couldn't stop winning (although I did get in a 28 year old physio named Laura, wonder if she was providing extra motivation )

Chairman expanded the stadium which left me with no cash (again!), finished 7th

Signed a striker, goalkeeper and DC, the striker actually turned out to be pretty good and got called up to Scots U21's. Is there a bug where you don't have to do very much in Scotland to get promoted? 1st

Chairman sold my 3 best players for a pittance so I left with the hump. (he later asked for it back but I refused)
Derby 2011 - 2012 English League 1
Board expects promotion, didn't get it, 5th, lost in first round of playoffs.
Some of the more observant among you may have noticed that due to a significant amount of alcohol being imbibed prior to my original post I completely messed up the dates...
Derby 2014 - 2015 English League 1
I didn't have a lot of money so I only managed to buy one French striker and an irish left back. Increased my staff by signing a fitness coach.
Most of my team where pretty anonymous all season and if it weren't for my new French striker bagging 40 goals in cups and league and my goalkeeper having the season of he's life I wouldn't have made the playoffs, beat QPR and got promoted.
Mind if I start an update?
