2014/15 Alfreton Championship
Another 11 players come in to help us survive our first season in the Championship, the biggest transfer we paid for was a AML from Oldham for 875k.
A very good debut season for us where we occupied one of the playoff spots for the whole season, we were gunning for promotion and defying the odds however we succumbed to the pressure conceding a goal in the 88th min in the second leg of the playoff semi finals consequently knocking us out and ending our promotion hopes. Ipswich beat us 2-3 on agg.
The board upgraded our training facilites and we've also already secured a few transfers for next season and will hope that these new players will take us to the next level.
Final Position: 6th 79pts
League Winners: Derby 93pts
Bank Balance: 2.73M
Avg Att: 12306
Transfers In: 11 Out: 28 (Mostly useless home grown players)
FA Cup: 4th Rnd
League Cup: 3rd Rnd
