2012/13 Alfreton League 2

I'd be lying if I said that we gained promotion a 3rd time in a row, however we came very close in clinching a playoff spot in 7th place.

Attracting talented players was still a struggle so we kept most of our players and brought in only 5 players and got rid of bunch of players on free, most notably a DC for 100K to Grimsby.

We had a very good first half of the season where we were sitting in 2nd for most of it but then losing form in the second half of the season, It appeared the opposition had our tactics figured out. Next season is going to be much tougher, we'll need to bring in some quality.

Final Position: 7th 70pts

Bank Balance: 121K Our finances are so much better now due to a packed out stadium every game.

2013/14 Alfreton League 1
This season was a big one for us, the board decided to listen to me and went and got a 2.1 million dollar loan and expanded the stadium capacity to 13032(8382 seated).

We also brought in 14 new players, the most we paid for was 150k for a young striker who was scouted to be a good premier league player in the future. However our biggest transfers was a the young Australian WBL/AML to Celtic for 850k and a DR to Hull for 500k.

We made a good start to the season and quickly climbed up the ladder and we never dropped out of the top 6 all season, overall it was a much improved season compared to the last one.
Going into the last game we knew we had to win against Plymouth because Sunderland was just 1 point behind us and also had a better GD howoever my trustworthy DC rallied the players resulting in a comfortable 3-0 thrashing, Sunderland ended up losing their match and we finish 2nd and gained promotion the Championship!
