before patch i managed to get nuneaton to premier league within 12 years (i think).

i was stuck in league 1 for 4-5 seasons untill my team was good enough to go up.

I am trying it again with Kettering (after patch)

His first ever trophy was the Scottish First Division title with St. Mirren back in 1977. Strangely Saints sacked him shortly afterwards.

St.Mirren are still the only team to have given him his jotters!!! :cool:

It wasn't strange. He made (allegedly) offensive comments to a woman at Love Street and was sacked by the board, although he was reputed to have agreed terms with Aberdeen beforehand.

Just had a look at Mr Auxerre,44 years at same club took them from part time to Champions of France, his best ability looked like picking young talent, having found some of the best names in French Football.

I managed to get to the Northern Irish PRL with my team from the lowest division in 5 seasons. Been playing in the PRL for 2 seasons now finishing 10:th at best. Since my economy don't allow me to spend much money on good players, I try to find coaches and ass. managers with good skills and concentrate on trying to refine my pretty young squad.

I had this approach since the 2:nd season and it really works great to me. I also try to sign the 3-4 most important players to fulltime contracts to maximise the effect of training.

But I bet the English leauge are a bit harder then the Northen irish though...
