An ok start is shattered by a CTD. We struggle in the replayed games, but by the halfway point of the season we're doing better than expected in 9th position with a 5-6-5 record.
The Christmas/New Year period is an absolute nightmare - losing 5 games running, eventually extending for 11 games without a win. I also get a fine for shooting my mouth off over our first straight red of the season. Chairman's none too happy either and tells me to watch my mouth in future
TNS wrap up the title with 3 games remaining, while a reasonably decent finish to the season keeps us safely away from the relegation zone. LLanelli finish 2nd, while Cefn Druids and Haverfordwest are relegated.
Offered a new 3 year contract on the same wage, with no transfer budget, but a slight increase in wage budget. I accept.

Season 2007/08 Airbus UK, Welsh Premier
Prediction 16th, odds 500-1. £1k transfer kitty. Players in: 6 (all are regular or occasional first teamers by the end of the season) Players out: 17 (this might have had something to do with the former )
A good run of form, including a record 6-0 win against Connah's Quay, sees us in 7th position at the halfway point of the season. I'm just hoping we don't suffer another collapse in form like we did last season...
While we do indeed subsequently suffer a loss of form, it's nowhere near as bad as last year's, and included a matching record 6-0 win amongst the losses and bore draws, so going into the final stretch we're still safely away from the bottom in 7th.
Despite some iffy dips, we manage to maintain our form to finish the season on a high with a 3-0 win over Cwmbran.
Llanelli pip TNS to the title, finishing on 83 pts to TNS' 80, who finish 18 pts clear of 3rd placed Newtown. Porthmadog and (shock!) Bangor City are relegated.
Takeover at Cwmbran - one of the Directors buys out the Chairman in protracted saga.

Season 2008/09 Airbus UK, Welsh Premier
Prediction 9th, Board & fans expect us to stay clear of relegation. Odds 20/1. £0k transfer kitty. Players in: 8 Players out: 10
The blossoming of our left winger, Private Lefty, and midfield general, Uncle Bulgaria, and the continuing form of last season's top scorer (Bouncyboy) give us a good start and leave me with high hopes for this season.
Despite some blips in form, we manage to make steady progress and we take up residence in the top 5, behind TNS and LLanelli of course.
Another run of bad form threatens to drop us out of the top 5 coming into the last few games, not helped by the loss of Bouncyboy through injury. We manage to scrape some good wins in the run up though and finish in 3rd, ensuring European football next season. \o/ In anticipation, I sign up some of my top performers on full-time contracts.

A great start sees us unbeaten and 1st after 4 games. It isn't long before Llanelli and TNS overhaul us, but at least we manage to keep pace with them.
In October, Uncle Bulgaria earns Welsh nationality after being a resident for 5 years
Our European adventure is enjoyable, if brief after a close encounter against Poland's Korona Kielce, which despite our best efforts, we lose 2-1 over the two legs.
By the halfway point of the season, it's becoming a three horse race in the league between us and the usual suspects Llanelli and TNS, with the chasing pack at least 9 points behind.
Of course, we then have our traditional Seasonal Collapse, while the top two keep relentlessly winning, to blow any dreams we may have had for the title...
Our spotty form continues to the end of the season when, with three games to go, TNS put us well and truly in our place with a 6-1 thrashing, which sends us out of the top three for the first time all season. This seems to give my players a shake-up though, and we comfortably win our final two games to secure 3rd place, 2pts ahead of Rhyl.
Llanelli take the title, 2pts ahead of TNS, who finish 16pts in front of us. Connah's Quay and Port Talbot are relegated.
