I'm not sure what the criteria is in England, but in Wales in my second season, I was invited to submit teams for Reserve and Under-19s leagues.

Perhaps once your reserve/academy squads are big enough, the same may happen there... (don't quote me though - like I said, I have no idea what the criteria is).

I was quite surprised at getting them in the 3rd division in Scotland. And thought the lower English leagues would have them also.

My first team always gets hammered by my reserves when I play em in pre-season. I think my AssMan's after my job...

My GK is running my U19s, supposed to be using the same tactics as me, but he's doing a far better job, wish I could ask him or find out what he's up to.

I don't know why reserve and U18's leagues are not implemented for the regional sides. It does seem a bit strange to not include them when in real life they all have them and are all playing in Divisions.

I schedule nearly weekly matches for my Conference South club. Most are against my "grey" U-18s, with some against various AFC's. Sure, injuries occur, but they occur in all divisions. Without reserve matches, you get fitness problems. Another big plus for me is the cash the reserve matches generate for my poverty-ridden club. Arranging these friendlies is just another part of being an LLM.
