In my 07 game, £250k plus £350k over 12 months plus £90k after 10 league goals and a 10% sell on fee. My chairman accepted it for me , I was holding out for at least a million for the 18 year old captain of the team who had scored over a goal a game since being promoted from the under 19s a year earlier.

I was close to resignation but found another wonderkid in the youth team.
