If you are referring to LMM as the way of playing FM then you are mistaken.

If you are referring to LLM as the LLM forum/community (which I see as separate - after all you can play LLM and not be a part of the community) then you are right. There are some things I don't get. Like for example why you cannot explicitly state the rules you all follow - e.g. not posting to T&TT. And at the same time you look down on new members who fail to adhere to the rules you never stated in the first place.

This really comes down to how you understand LLM. And I am not talking about the rules of playing FM - those are stated and clear. I follow them myself (I know that this surprises you). I am talking about LLM community.

Your point is valid only if you assume that LMM forum is for players who play ONLY the LLM style. They never and under no circumstances play any other way. Then there would be no point for them to go to T&TT or GP&TG because that would mean breaking the LLM rules.

But I see no reason why you cannot have a Man Utd game at some point and then start a brand new LLM game with some other Conference club (different game, different save). And then start a new one with Chelsea win the solar system championship and then start a new one with Kidderminster observing all the rules of LLM.

You would not consider those low league games as LMM games only becasue the manager had previously played in a non-LLM way?

You're getting there.

Many users start LLM having previously played non-LLM CM/FM and find LLM the best way to play, it takes thought, skill, and hours...days...weeks of struggle, but it's worth it when you reach 4th in the Conference South, and you've done it yourself.

Other guys play LLM, they fire up a game to win the CL with Barca...but they sure as hell don't post about it in here.

You find that the guys who play LLM exclusively post here for years, the guys who think they can flit from style to style don't.

Bottom line...the worthy regulars who post here aren't interested in guys who have GPTG of T&TT in their recent history because they are at extremely high risk of cheating in order to succeed with an LL team.

We/I have suffered years of guys coming in here to brag that they've taken Enfield to CL glory and swear blind they haven't cheated...and they actually have posts in GPTG and T&TT asking for help for their Enfield game...and hat's the vast majority.

It ****es me off that people think LLM's a badge of honour that makes them look big if they've cheated their way to the CL with an LL team and think they're LLM, brag about being LLM.

LLaMas won't. They get on with the game and leave the bragging to the cheats.

LLM and GPTG/T&TT are mutually exclusive. It's not a snap judgement it's come about from years of experience.

Are you a Polish bloke? We have an excellent Polish midfielder plays for us, I worked with a firm owned by a Polish guy for 6 years and with several Polish guys, I've always found Polish guys to be the salt of the earth.
