Just noticed I typed unbeaten wrong instead of run.

2013-2014

Built upon my first full season in charge with a 3rd place finish. We were playing out of our skins to be honest and when we got beat by 1st place Arbroath 1-0 at home (They were lucky) we went on a bit of a slump and conceeded 1st place.

We picked up during the end of the season with our form looking DWWWW but unfortunately we were not able to beat East Stirling in the Play Offs.

An embarrasing 3-0 defeat at home didn't set us up well and we beat them 3-2 away from home losing out 5-3 on Aggregate.

I don't like the Scottish way of doing things by the way. I think only having 3 teams from the division in the playoffs and a team from the above division isn't very fair.

Made a few signings as I said, but I am finding it very difficult to pick a solid first team, but I suppose competition won't hurt.

Went out of all the cups in the first round by the way.

So next year we are aiming for promotion, hopefully.

2014 - 2015

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.

Well, this season didn't go too well. Raith were the runaway leaders and after 20 games I was 15 points behind in 2nd. The only way I could go for the promotion I craved was through the playoffs.

Well, on the last day of the season, 5th placed Stirling decided to score in the 90th minute to beat me, knocking us down to 5th, so no bloody playoffs either.

Earlier in the season I applied for the Southampton job, they were in League two but that was unsucessful, so instead I signed an excellent Right Winger from Albion Rovers.

Injuries were not kind to us this year and when it came down to it, the players just wouldn't gel and give us a good run.

I thought about resigning this year and going back to England, but nothing looks appealing and I have built up a decent squad too. I am pretty sure if we don't go up this year then I will have to move on.

Oh well, champions next year.

P.S Went out of all the cups in the first round again.

2015 - 2016

Oh dear.

Well, this season was a bit closer than last. We finished 3rd and the gap was only 6 points this time. We had so many chances to leapfrop Alloa and Arborath into 1st but when it came down to it all we could do was muster draws against worst opposition.

It annoyed me to be honest that again we find ourselves on a crap run of form at the end of the season going in to the playoffs.

We picked up a 1-0 win in the 1st leg over Arbroath, they equalised on the 80th min of the 2nd leg and scored a 110th min pen to knock us out.

I don't think I can take this team any further and it's a shame because it was a decent squad and more importantly, decent colours.

So I decided to resign as Dumbarton manager looking to move back into England.

Not got a job yet, but I will be sure to update when I do.

New job \o/

Got offered the Southampton Job who are in league 2. I did actually apply for that job last season, so I am glad it came up again, I can see me going far with these and maybe actually winning something.

2016 -2017

So I took the Soton job 1/4 through the season and they were 3rd. First job was sift through the deadwood and offer contracts to those who will be in my plans for the next few years.

The squad after my cull was actually quite small so I signed up a few of my old Dumbarton players and sent me scouts out.

Signed my Former LB, LM, CM, CB three of whom are first team regulars now.

My scout found me a decent CB and RM who I snapped up as well.

The season went well and I finally won something, promotion! \o/

Media Prediction of 10th and the media and board were suprised with promotion. We were in 1st playing 2nd Southend on the last game of the season for the league title, imagine that.

Injury to my only RM and we lose 4-2 to finish 2nd. I am not too bothered though, at least I have done something.

I also managed to take league 1's Lincoln to a replay in the FA cup 5th round. 1-0 till they equalised in the 90th min for the replay which we lost soundly after I had two players sent off.

So getting right into the game now and hopefully I can stay in L1 next season.
