Unió Esportiva Sant Andreu is a Catalan football team playing in the Segunda Division B, formed in 1907 and based in the city of Barcelona,on the district of Sant Andreu.
We had to avoid relegation, but I thought we should be right up there in the playoffs. Well, we weren't. I don't know if it was my tactics, but we just seemed to be terrible. It didn't help not having a decent RB and my only RM being the Johnny Wilkinson of football, and we went on a dirty great big run of crap results finding ourselves in the relegation zone for most of the season.
In the closing quarter of the season I managed to get the RB I was looking for and we started to slowly gather some points. I think I have finally tweaked the tactics just right, because we went on a 10 game unbeaten streak to catch 15th.
Last day of the season we were 3 points behind Lanzarote with better GD. I decided I would rather go for it than face the Relegation play offs.
We went up against Villerael B who were 5th at home and were 1-0 down at HT. Gung Ho time and we ended winning 2-1 to move above Lanzarote as they lost. \o/
I think I have ****ed the clubs finances, because we had a nce amount before I took over now we are 500k in the red.
Axed a few players and renewed a few contracts. I accidently forgot to renew my ass mans contract before I went on holiday during the close season, now I have no Ass man because he left.
Signed a new striker. He is 34 with some decent stats. I got him on a free so I am hoping he gets us 15+ goals this season. One area we really struggled with was our strike force last season, so I am hoping that all changes.
This year we still have to battle bravely against relegation, so we will see how that goes.
