Good point, mkus. I guess the position was untenable there though. They have been kicked out of the league IRL, so that's reason enough to resign  | |

You'll survive old chap.
Although I did do a spot of digging around on Hyde's website and discovered that they lost 26-0 to Preston in 1887/88 FA Cup.
Biggest Cup Defeat in footballing history, apparently...
Why they would have this information on their own website bewilders me, to be quite honest | |

UPDATE: not to rub further salt in the wound or anything, but i also found this gem on Hyde United FC:

After reading this post, I decided to give them a try last night. I played for maybe a half year and had no trouble signing a few players, all done within LLM guidelines. Many of the players had Singapore as their "main" nationality but there were loads of players to choose from with a second nationaly of some African county.
Plus, all the youth players were African.
It was very interesting and fun team to command. Certainly unique.

Perhaps they meant FA Cup history?
