I'd have given up after 6 or 7 seasons and moved on too, TBH.

Cheating, i dont think so

I was toying with the idea of staying at Yeading, but to be honest i felt my only chance of promotion was automatic and that had gone for another season. This is my only FM save and i average just under one real day per seaon. At the moment i have been playing it a lot. I also want to progress to the top and have decent players. For that reason the offer was too good to turn down, plus they offered me 3 times what i was being paid at Yeading. If LLM is all about realism then its a no brainer and i leave. Cheating, NO

It can be, well sort of at least, but this move wasn't. Harsh to say cheating anyway, but some moves can certainly be unrealistic.

I actually think I would have moved on too after so many years in the regionals basically getting nowhere.

I think some people may be reading the some posts or the guidelines too literally.

Quote:
1) Choose a team. Play the same team until you've won everything you can, regardless how long it takes, or until you're sacked. Then start a new game.
2) Choose a team. Play until your reputation attracts the interest of ever increasingly bigger teams; change Clubs as and when you're offered jobs until you're in charge at Real Madrid, Juventus, Man Utd or a World Cup winning Manager with San Marino.
3) Choose a team. Do crap. Get sacked. Wait for another team. Do crap. Get sacked. Wait for….ad infinitum.
These are three examples of LLM play. Not absolute rules on how you should play.

Good luck with Halifax, Cider!

Season 12/13 - Halifax (Conference National)

Started the league campaign well enough hovering around top spot up until christmas on the back of a very strong defence, scoring was a problem though. Fell away, needing a win away at York on the last day to overtake them and gain the last playoff spot. It wasnt to be going down 1-0. Got to the final of the FA Trophy before defeat at Wembley to Yeovil 3-1. Halifax are seriously in debt so have had to let go most of my squad and for the next year or so are going to rely on youth players. My best player is a 20 Year Old DC, the only problem being he missed 9 games due to suspensions, twice for punching a rival off the ball including in the FA Trophy Final. I am the least optermistic I ever have been going into a season and i fear for my long term future at Halifax

Oh yeah Yeading won the Conference North by March
