has anyone had issues with their board giving them aggro over staffing costs. im currently employing 3 scouts who are on a permanent hunt for players in northern ireland, wales and england for yth players. considering 99% of all my signings have been yths and for free via this method of scouting, can i not justify this to the board. getting worried that im going to get le chop based on this. the wage budget for playing staff is below budget and clubs balance is healthy, but im surviving on skeleton staff who are all part time!

additionally ive signed players on full time contracts but i cant convince any coach to sign on full time! wanting to develop the players by taking the club ont another level. got 250k in the bank, been exceptionally prudent with finances, at what stage can you convince the club to go full time? read simliar issues in other threads but has anyone got the definitive answer? im assuming its based on reputation but in previous editions the change from part time to full time has occurred due to a promotion etc, is this the case or is a healthy bank balance more pertinent, or is it both? no one on these forums has previously given a definitive answer on this, would love it to be clarified so i can work out if ive taken a club as far as its structured to go?

Over the past 5 seasons I am slowly offering full time contracts to more players and staff as and when my finances improve and I have an excess in my wage budget. Not sure when the board will decided to offically go full time, but on previous experience in FM2006 & 07 this was when my team was promoted to the Football League.

just back tracked thru a few months worth of posts and the football league seems to be the clincher. hopefully i'll get too find out, but think i'll be dario gradi-esque before i see that. Guy Roux had it easier!

Dario Gradi, Guy Roux, Marco van Basten, Kenny Dalglish

FFS, staff naming is not a problem unless they were players in the last few years.
