Hello to all.

I have a problem.
I play free career mode and currently i manage SV Trier in German 4th Division.
In this division exists a rule: you must have 3 german players under 21 years in the squad submitted for a match.

I have two goalkeepers and a striker under 21 in the squad and never had problems with this rule so far. The second Goalie was grey, that means he has no contract (or what does that mean???).
Right before the 11th matchday in the league the grey GK just disappeared.

So i loaded an autosave and gave him a contract. He accepted it. But when i wanted to submit the team for the next match, the player is inevitable for the match. I dont understand this, cause he is submitted for the league.
As long as he was grey, everything was ok, i could take him to the league matches.

I also tried to take other young players from U23 and U19 team to the first team, but all are inevitable for the league match.
The transfer window is closed and so i have no possibility to play futher, cause i have only two players under 21 .

I hope you can understand my problem, my english is not good.

I think you may mean "ineligible" as opposed to "inevitable", Prengel.

I'll leave this open to replies although it's really a GQ question.

Oh sry, yes i mean ineligible.
But what means GQ Question ?

Can i create a under 21 player for my team and use him in my actual save game?
That would solve the problem.

I have no clue about editing, thats why i am ask. So is this possible?

I would hate editing or cheating in a game!
But i dont want to start a new league, cause i invested so much time in my actual game

You could also put players out of position trying to deal with the problem.

I'm sure you have enough players to make up a squad.

Or not even that?

And the editor is bad. So don't use it

As for your original problem the player may in ineligible due to signing the contract after a defined registration date, you can find out the dates in the league rules section in game.

I have also seen a number of threads in both the GQ & 2008 bugs forum relating to registration issues in Germany so they might be worth a look at.

I'm playing in Germany myself. I'm sure he has some grey U-21 player he can put in his squad.

I know exactly what problem he has but the game is not bugged in this area.

The registration thing in itself is bugged though.
