let your assistant pick your squad andthe results just keep getting better.
trust me with grays athletic it works!!!!!!!

by results do you mean his picks? or your match results?

Marc Vaughan has stated in the past that the assistants are set to pick a "decent" squad but not necessarily the best squad you could make from your available players...

If you find the assistant's picks to perform better than your own than you need to chalk that up to your own inadequacies as a coach, not to some special trick.

When I first started playing FM the assistant was a great help, and even now I still always use the assistant when I move to a new club, or after receiving a large influx of new talent.

I never completely agree with the assistant's choices, but I use him as a kind of sounding board and compare his 11 against my 11, and then look at places we disagreed and try and figure out why.

I think this has been discussed but i only use it if i have 2 lb 1 injured so he has to pick him.(Obviously he's a good lb otherwise he would pick a rb probably.

Its quicker!

he pick maybe not the strongest squad he can set but its makes my grays athletic team win confrence and in playoffs in L2 , works for lower leagues not shure about higher leagues lol !!!!!!

if youve just begun an FM career, Grays Athletic starts pretty much able to slice right through conference even though the board expects you to battle for relegation

they've got half-decent players, especially Tommy Douglas, you'll get alot of mileage out of that dude

Probably depends on the abilities of the assistant manager. I usually use it when I am unsure of the final few posistions to pick - like when I have no left back to play in that posistion
