i have been trying to start a network game wiv my mate for ages now but it never finds a local sever. why is this and do i have to be within a certain radius to be able to connect with him?

I think you're posting on the wrong forum.

(PSP network games will automatically find anyone near you and deal with things without any techy stuff required by the way )
