I don't think they will 'fix' the match engine

Its OK, and I admit the Reserve and Youth Team thing is a problem but the real-time tactic change thing is good.

You can turn off "match day experience" in the preferences which removes some of it. You still get that pointless team selection screen though. Like you say I just can't understand the reason behind this screen ? you just have to go back to your main squad to select your team properly anyway .

i agree with this. i've turned the match day experience off but why the first screen you go to when going to match cant' be your team talk screen i don't know.
it just adds an extra click of the mouse. then you have to go through the oppo instructions which i never make.
