Despite installing both beta patches I have just been released by Macclesfield.
Whilst not claiming to be a great tactician I took them from Div 2 to the Championship and survived during my three seasons. Their original expectation was to establish themselves in Div 2.
Bank Balance now over 3million as opposed to 80k when I took over.
Realistic? Surely most boards would have offered an extension as soon as I reached the Championship on such limited resources, if for no other reason than to gain more compensation if I was poached.
You have this issue.
Player attributes not making enough difference to performance.
Absurd transfer fees.
Morale going wonky.
Possession problem.
Too many goals, and on the other hand strikers missing easy chances time and time again.

Of course they're not realistic! But SI have acknowledged the problem and are supposedly working to fix it. It's not fair to say that because the closing down bug wasn't fixed properly in the beta that it wont be fixed in the next patch. The reason it's taking so much longer to get the full patch out is because they have a lot of bugs to correct, and then a lot of testing to do on top of this. The point of the beta patches was to try and give players a more realistic experience so they could at least play the game until the full patch came out as a lot of people had suggested they couldn't even play the original boxed version of the game.
