Which all due respect, the England match should have a bearing on Football Manager 2008.

I, for one, hope that the researchers dilute the quality of the England players and the england team, to something a wee bit more realistic.

Can people post these sorts of threads in the Data forum? Bug forum? Or more importantly, will said threads get the consideration which they deserve?

Nah mate you cant it seems even mention England at the moment even when my post simply asked "what would you guys as managers have done"
I tell you this if it was maybe a cup final and I posted the exact same thread maybe questioning SAL it would have not got locked..shame shame shame

Hidden attributes such as pressure come into it a lot. Carson for example does very well in the Premier League, he's not suddenly a bad player.

Could also be related to the match engine, English strengths such as bravery, work rate, determination, aggression, strength etc mean the players perform better than they should, while technically good teams struggle slightly more than they do IRL.
