So I find this great player, and the team he's from is interested in one of my players.
I figure, "Hey let's do a straight swap", so I go to the player I want, offer a deal of zero cash plus a player that the club wants.
All very simple. However, the aforementioned team I'm dealing with does not want to go ahead with the deal.
Fine. No problems so far.
I decide instead to just buy the player outright without exchanging any of my players. I click on the player, select 'Make an Offer' and the player I selected earlier to swap with him is STILL in the 'Players to Exchange' box.
As far as I can tell, there's no way to get rid of him. I really want this player, but there seems to be no way to clear the exchange player option.
The reason I posted this here rather than the bugs forum is that I seem to remember having this problem before, even in past versions of FM.
I may be overlooking something simple, but has anyone else noticed this? Cheers.
Nah, didn't work, but it turns out that if you skip ahead a few days the option to exchange a player disappears when you try and make a new offer... Hmm. Problem solved (kind of).
(Thanks AndyPass)
There is a little arrow to the left of the playername by the players to exchange. Click on the arrow and the remove button should get clickable. If this doesn't happen your game is bugged somehow.
