This is my 1st posting to the forum, and i believe most of the points has been brought up for discussion..however here's some of my views regarding the game...
1) As highlighted by most,there are way too many chances created. I am playin Spurs rite now, on average my team create 20 odd chances,scoring ard 1-2 only..geez
SI pls2 fix this bug...can we by any chance use the match engine by FM 2007 patch 7.02..just a thot..at least that match ngine is pretty realistic..
(2) Penalties just wont go in..esp durin shootouts..i missed all 6 penalties..brighton scored only 1..and won!! wth!!
(3) Transfers are extremely hard to do..selling n buyin....
(4) How do you get Klinsmann in the game as an unemployed manager?? I am playing a HUGE database, english league, and all the other world manager with a rep and ablitiy lower than Klinsi, would appear in the game, eg..Kohler, Buchwald,Brehme, Deschamps, Vialli,etc...all except Klinsi!! i mean cmon!!!
I'd just like to comment on point 1 - the much documented "too many chances / 1 on 1's". I fully agree it is making the game totally unrealistic.
I know some SI guys have been on here explaining the reasons why it happens, ie that humans are playing more attacking hence more chances are being created. No I neverplayed 07, or 06. I was still on 05 (old but I loved it) This problem never happened then, even if you played attacking it was difficult to break the opposition down.So why does this problem happen in 08?
I've said before that I think this game has so much going for it. A few tweaks and it could be fantatsic.
