I know. Just glad they were only pre-season friendlies. Although I was'nt happy about playing them all within a week! Probably the reason why I got stuffed!

I was playing an online-game with a friend, where I was West Ham and he was Tottenham. Initially I struggled and he won, but around mid-season I went on a tear and he hit a slump. That slump continued in excess of ten games, upon which he contemplated to re-sign and quit the game - I managed to convince him to turn it around - until his Tottenham side was thrashed 0-10 at home against Chelsea...never seen something like that before.

Biggest score I have had in FM08 is 12 or so goals in friendlies. Biggest I've seen in FM08 for the AI is a 17-0 win Valencia beating some team in UEFA cup about 7 seasons into the game. I looked at the game and the reason was the other team had 2 players sent off and all they had on defense was 3 very slow DC's.
