I've been playing FM for a long time without any problems, but with FM08 my computer always crashes when I play a match in the first round of the Euro Cup.


I had this with Aston Villa and now with Atletico, I just can't go trough with the game, my computer always crashes...

I've tried going on holiday for a few days and re-installed FM, but it keeps on crashing, please could someone help me?

Are you using the 8.0.1 patch?.If not this might help.
I say this only because I had similar problems with earlier versions when the game would crash on reaching a particular
date in the season.The patches at the time solved it.(You might have to start a new game for the changes to work).

If it is happening at the same point each time it sounds like it's an issue within the game.
Also if you have used the Editor to change things in the game this can cause problems.

Alternatively try defragging your hard drive as that sometimes helps as well.
