That would be quite fun, telling a player you think he made a mistake by not signing for you, or leaving on a free to go to bigger clubs that fail to play him due to having 11 35 year olds with immense CA/PA

I had a young striker that wanted a move to a bigger club when I was playing in the championship with Brighton. So by the end of the season he signs with Castellón who was about to get relegated from the Spanish second division. A couple of weeks later we secured promotion to the premiership, I so felt like laughihng him in the face at that point.
