FM Fanzine - "The Bootroom" now available for download
For those that have been following our threads on the project, we have now finished Issue One and it is ready for download. We think you'll enjoy it.
The first edition of "The Bootroom" is now available for download at FM WeeGiE !
The guys at FM WeeGiE have very kindly set us up with a forum on their site where all our readers can go to discuss anything to do with the new fanzine.
We're very happy to work with them as we all know that they do some amazing work on, what are without doubt, the best FM updates you can get.
As with all forums, you'll need to register, but I'd strongly recommend it anyway, since then you can get access to not only our forum, but all the other FM forums on the site, plus you'll be able to grab the latest data update as well. Can't say fairer than that!
Head over there now and get yourself registered! What are you waiting for?
Point your browser to FM WeeGiE and look for our "FM Fanzine" forum and don't forget to take a good look around the excellent FM WeeGiE site while you're there.

Obviously we would invite any feedback you have, good or bad. If we know what you guys want then we can make it even better next month. We've already got lots of ideas, but a few more won't hurt.
We are also hoping to start a mailbox in the pages of the fanzine, so don't be afraid to drop us an email if you've got something on your mind that you would like to get in print.

I've only had a quick look as I should be doing Uni stuff, but it looks very impressive. I really like the idea of the skin reviews - I'm usually too lazy to browse through all the different skin sites and threads, so this keeps me up to date.
As a big fan of tactics myself, hopefully your tactical guide will introduce more people to that side of the game. Future articles could be based upon tactical reasons for the "shot/goals bug", or a guide based around certain tactics from the past, such as Ajax 1990's, or the current Barca system. I agree with the 'Big Idea' as well. It would be a great addition to the game, and add more realism.
The club guides look detailed and again, this looks like a promising, almost infitite feature. I like the 'where are they now feature' as well.
I'm looking forward to reading the whole thing later on, once I've battered out this damn Uni essay...

I liked the club review in particular. Very thorough and interesting, even for a person who would never dream of managing the club.
If I should point at something, that I'm missing, then it would be something like league/country reviews, so there would be a treat for all of us, who don't play England or EPL.

The next tactics guide will be about closing out the last ten minutes of the game. Hopefully we can also get one of the tactical gurus on board, as I think they can take this area much further than I can.
