Hi,

Just wondering does anyone else have the issue of their game locking up/freezing after a period of playing ?

I seem to get this every other time of playing the game. I notice that at 1st the match engine judders and slows a little then just freezes and I have to restart my PC I have also had this on the news screen. Now I know I have read about overheating etc on these forums but my PC works fine for long periods of time on all other apps and functions.

I am fully patched up.

What spec is your pc, also when you have FM running minimise it, click alt ctrl delete and have a look what the cpu usage is, I’ve read a few people having problems with fm taking up a huge amount of cpu usage.

Running a 3.2 pent 4 with 2gig of ram on windows xp. FM07 ran as smooth as a babys rear so a little dissapointed that this can happen. I have taken to saving after every 2nd or 3rd game so as to not lose any progress not that my current game is making any as I cant buy a win !!!!

I have noticed this happens to me also.

I am running Windows Vista Pro and wondered if it's a Vista related problem.

CPU usage seems to be fine on my system so am also at a loss to explain the lockups.

It could also be something to do with how many leagues we're running, how many player countries loaded additionally, etc...

I have max DB and about 3/4 of the "extra" player countries on my current save - a huge amount of info!!

Mine is running fine on Vista, 2d pitch may stutter a bit if i run it for long with loads of programs in the background though.

A couple of hours?

A day?

A week?
