Editor - What am I doing wrong?

I have Football manager 2007 and I have just used the editor to update my game for a new season. But when I go to save the changes unlike the old FM 2006 editor it asks me for a file name? why can’t I just save to the original database? Also when I go to load my new file in the FM 2007 main window it says CANNOT LOAD DATABASE. What am I doing wrong? Please help

You can't save to the original, more to help people messing it up and having to reinstall the game to fix it, it actually saves a great deal of time.

As for not showing up, I’m still yet to read a fix for this, so maybe uninstalling reinstall, patch up, edits then all should be fine, remember to save any save games to disk or USB.
