I don't think you can do it directly without improving the player overall. For example you could edit his current ability and he would naturally be a more valuable player, but will also be alot better.

But u still cant sell him for that value, value are much decide by Reputation,CA,PA and Match rating.

You can change the value of the player with FM modifier.

yes, you can change a player's value and even his asking price...and you don't have to change his ability...just increase his reputation and you have a reasonable chance of selling him...of course, if you make the value ridculously high, then you better improve his CA/PA too
