I'm having a bit of an editing problem with the database at the mo.
I'm trying to do a top to tail swap of the entire english league. Basically, I swap the top of the premier league team with the bottom of the blue square north/south team and so on. After a good hour of planning and switching I've got it all through on the database editor.
However, when I try to load the game it goes mad with my old friend "Array Access Out of Bounds". What have I done wrong?
I've made all the swaps by choosing the teams and swapping in the editor. Do I also need to:
Change League Winners/Cup Winners etc. so the computer thinks it's all kosher?
Do anything else?
Your help here would be most appreciated as I'm looking to run a bit of a mad holiday game.
You need to set "last division" and "last position" for swapped teams so that the game knows how to seed the cups. It generally crashes at the league cup first round, because it is trying to seed teams that are not in that competition, or if you prefer, it's trying to seed the Conference teams into the second and third rounds because their last division/position says they should be in the Premiership/First Division, but they cannot be entered because they are not in that cup.
