Is this just a coincidence or does increasing tempo improve goalkeeper distribution?
I've been experimenting trying to figure out how it is the AI can get their goalkeeper to actually kick the ball to their own players, the ones where the keeper drops the ball onto the toes of the striker who has dropped in between the defence and midfield etc.
I increased the tempo to second notch of quick and suddenly my goalkeeper's kick outs weren't all coming straight back at me (accepting that physically bigger sides will tend to win more headers). As the thread title says is this just a coincidence or are these two linked? (It's not a morale thing as I reloaded the same game in testing).
