It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

@jase19: I always use a pacey target man, this is my way to enforce a certain style of play. In Creativo always ticked and run to ball, in RoOmbus mixed between unticked and to feet/ticked and run to ball.

@bearsy: glad you have so much fun! I suppose your AMC is more of a playmaker then a 2nd striker?

@Pyu: What is your goal ratio? With right versions and a WC team you should not concede more then 0.5 to 0.7. It seems that balanced works as "one for all" for top teams, but my records include full use of ALL versions, even with the best teams.

Maybe you will concede less if you put more pressure on your opponents. Did you try the updated defensive as well? Opposition instructions? Some keepers need to be set to defensive mentality (plus less closing down if this does not help).

I have no real problems with Rhombus. As you indicated, my goals conceded ratio currently stands at 0.5.

I only have troubles playing away against sides like Liverpool and Reading (or any other with similar style), where they are very tight defensively and my players start to lose possession by being tackled or simply launching the ball towards a player that is very tightly marked.

After losing the ball, there's the inevitable counter-punch which I'm very sick off.

Anyway, the defensive version has done me good, though I must admit to being rather bitter at struggling to take on sides that are struggling in the league.

I can advise everyone, use the RoO Sets of wwfan...

Got me the treble in season 2008/2009 with Cologne, won the League, the CL, and the Cup...This season, we already won the league cup, the euro super cup, are 20 points clear of the 2nd after 22 games, still in CL, still in cup, won the club world-cup...omg man...it's incredible

Eddie Johnson and Hugo Rodallega are just unbelievable...Johnson's stats: 33 Games, 26 Goals, 13 Assists, 11 MoM

Rodallega's: 28 Games, 33 Goals, 15 Assists..7 MoM

Thanks for this very good tactic wwfan, and finally constant very good tactic!!

Basically, i tweak the CB's to do nothing other than defend. The striker and the AMC I changed their individual instructions so that they now have 'run with ball', 'forward runs' and 'through balls' on maximum. Then i put crossing and long shots on minimum. Made sure passing was on short and they've been banging them in ever since

I would upload my edit to the tactic but fmdownload wont let log in

Diaby:

More positive news, I restarted a barca game since I wanted to see how creativo would work with deco/iniesta/gudjohnsen (players i'd already lost when i tried your tactic in my first game)

i think i've reached a high point, 9th win in a row in a 22 game unbeaten streak, Barca vs Racing at Camp Nou. EIGHT different people scored for 8-0! The more interesting part was that I only took 16 shots (12 on target!)

>.< thats what i call teamwork

Im trying creativo 1.1 with liverpool. Won my first 3 games, but then lost to fulham 3-1 and bolton 2-0.

Dont seem to be creating many chances either.

And in the next game lost 1-0 to villa. They had 11 chances to my 2.

who do you have in your lineup?

with these kind of tactics, wingers like finnan once he's aged a bit can cost you as they cannot keep up with the pacey wingers... get beat up and down.
