Hi, I'm new to this only been playing about 1 week or so. The goalkeeping coach I started with seemed a bit rubbish, his score for goalkeeper-coaching was 3 out of 20. So I hired a new goalkeeping coach.

But the first guy still on my payroll, is there a way that can I move him to outfield coaching? I tried moving him on the training screen but it doesn't seem to let me...

Right-click on him then offer a "Mutual Termination"
When you're new to a club the staff who are already there will always accept this action.

Now you just need a game that works, because (Wait for it, Dayle!) FM07 is broken.

GK and Fitness coaches can only coach in these schedules so terminate him if you want him off the payroll.

I dunno how this guy is a gk coach in the first place as i said his attribute is 3, and his attributes in all other coaching areas are far higher!! As a normal coach he might have some use.

I offered him mutual termination but the idiot wants £10k, only £4k less than his annual salary, you see his contract expires 12 months.

I wish I could just make him leave by throwing heavy objects at him...

Just sack him haha. You save 4k =] Could be vital if the club your managing has a goalkeeper coach with 3 rating.

If he is good at anything else (fitness, defense, whatever), offer him a new contract as a coach (not GK coach). Usually they tend to accept and you will save some money as he won't ask for signing fee or much higher wage.
