I have a solid tactic which is bringing results home and away. This has brought success for a number of seasons, but now I'm getting greedy. The majority of my wins are by single goal margins and now I want more comprehensive victories. I play 4-4-1-1 with one central midfielder more attacking that the other, but most of the attacking thrust coming from the striker and AM/FC behind. Generally, I dominate possession (55-60%) and have between 15 and 20 shots per game. The downfall seems to be shots on target - usually we only get about 1 in 3 on target. How can my team become more clinical? The forward players have good composure and finishing (15+). I don't have any players set to take long shots and creative freedom is normal to low so I'm just confused as to why we seem so erratic in front of goal.

just played 1 game now with reading played boro away i won the game 3-0 all i did was move doyle[st]too the left and give donavon[am] a arrow foward obviousley this is only 1 game but it is a start will need a bit more testing may do tonight ot tomorrow

It appears that your wingers aren't going up as much as they should. I would put some forward arrows on them. Also, I would increase their mentality.

However, changes above *could* weaken your defense down the flanks a little bit.

Marseille07 - that was my thought. I only have above normal creative freedom for the AM/FC as an earlier version of the tactic (with more creative freedom for the wingers) was less tight at the back. My hope is that by crossing the ball often from the byline, that they just deliver the ball earlier and so don't need to move so far up the pitch.
