It`s the first time i`ve offered a tactic for people to use but i wanted to see if others could win with it. I won the welsh league with port talbot, i don`t know how well it would do in other leagues, andy bagshaw and chad bond seem to like it scoring over 80 goals between them, this is the link, i just hope it works, just out of interest does anyone think this forum should have a preview page. http://files.filefront.com/4+4+2+Attack+Port+Talbot+9ta...0674;;/fileinfo.html |

Hi,
You might want to read some of the other threads of people who have posted tactics as well and see how they presented it. Presentation of posting a tactic on here is really important as if you want people to read your thread you got to make it stand out and put a bit of info across so people actually want to try your tactic.
Telling us a few things like what shape it is to begin with would be a good start. Also the sort of players you need for it to work. The tactics key positions, weaknesses and whatever else you can think of.
This way the thread can stay open and hopefully you will generate a bit of interest in the thread.

This is a bit about the tactic.
players you need:
def right backs: reasonably fast & decent crossers, decent marking, good long throwers
Centre backs: should be tall, decent tackling & marking stats, also reasonably fast, good in the air
Def-mid: good passers, good marking, decent creativity
Midfielder: good creativity, good tackling & marking, good passing & crossing, decent pace, decent heading ability
Attacking mid left & right: Pacey, good crossers, decent tackling & marking
strikers: good acceleration & pace, good strength & heading, high stamina, decent creativity, obviously good finishing and dribbling
Starts of as a straight 442 with defenders only going up for corners, 2 left and right backs usually stay back for corners but only because my centre backs are better at heading, def mid always stays in the middle to cover.
The strength of the tactic is the attacking side, the down side is if the opposition have pacey attackers, the centre backs can sometimes get caught out. The biggest strength is the strikers, if that`s right you should score a lot.
Whether this works for everyone else i don`t know. if you do find faults, it would really help if you could tell me what they are. I`ve never been able to get tactics right, this is the first one that`s been successful for me.

I didn`t know if it would work with the top teams, at the moment i`m using it for england u21 matches and i`ve already won the european u21 championship with it, andy bagshaw as also scored 45 in 35 so far with still 3 months to go.

I tried other formations so it didn`t get predictable but went back to this one for the last few games and won them all to win the title again,if anyone is managing a welsh team like me then this tactic should work especially with andy bagshaw and chad bond, they are a must.

I Cant believe i`ve just done the treble with port talbot, won the league for the 3rd time only losing 2 games, challenge cup 3rd time and the welsh cup 3rd time all with this tactic, my manager pecentage is 63% which isn`t bad, i`m 2nd in the hall of fame, if i win the league and a cup i go top, i might retire then and try the tactic somewhere else, has anyone had any success with my tactic or even tried it, would really love to know.
