MY SUGGESTION
DEFENCE
why not playing with 3 defenders together without sarrows but to give the left and right often crossing and team width :wide.
i use this and it works they have the most passes. They will also have a lot closing down and will close down their wingers too..
MIDFIELD
instead of DMs i would put in MCs. One of them (stronger, taller, defensive) with lower mentality, and one more creative
(CLEON i dont think ur formation will work as u have 2 creative DMs-u would need one Gattusso style-destroyer-or sissoko(tall)
can u try this defensive part of the team, it works for me but i dont know how it will for u?
i tried like this before(not enough attacking) http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/7...enovanabi6.png
like this: http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/3...enovanark7.png
but this one works best for me(u can put one ST to AM): http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/3...enovanaki1.png | I can make any variation of the W-M work but I wont to actually keep the shape so its still a W-M.
The only changes I would make are make the FR/FL SC's so I play a flat 3 with them having backward diagnoal arrows to AML/AMR positions. Or id make the 2 MC's AMC'S. This way I still keep the original shape morealess.

ooooooh men i have spent the last 2 days creating this tactic (like i said i would) only to find you have created it already. nice. i have to say the 3-2-2-3 is the best formation ever. i am still tweaking mine so i can perfect it but i can already see the potential(i just outplayed liverpool in the CM and beat them 2-0). if i dont manage to get the balance i might try yours.
KUTGW anyway. |

Hi there. I was very interested in the previous version of this tactic but never really got to test, use or tweek them.
Would there be a home and away version or would there be just one tactic that would be defensive as the tactic seems very attacking.

| Id just use one version.
I'm so frustrated at the minute as I can see the potential in my team, I'm just making too many mistakes as well. Once I sort these I'll be fine. I will post my settings once I'm happy with what I'm doing |

doesn't the single DC get caught with through passes etc? i guess the dmc/s are there to stop this. but the ball over the top (that is soooo frequent)
i might like to try this tac with a sweeper..heh, but that may invite increased pressure.
i also would put amc's rather than mc's, if only for symmetry (and W M look)

| It still is the same shape it doesn't alter. The dc is fine because i use barrows on the dmcs, so i actually have 5 at the back when i loose the ball

my version of the M-W seems to be ok. my team has won 5 in a row including away wins against arsenal and l.pool. i find that having DM with good positioning really helps to make the defense solid.

ok. so i have gone on a 10 game unbeaten run and already teams are staring to play the 3-3-2-1-1 formation against me, including the 4-4-2 without farrows which are both very hard formations to break down. this sucks!

I've not given up on this, I'm just a bit busy at the minute. Hopefully tonight I can post some screenshots and stats up for you. I've had an indifferent start to say the least but my results are picking up now I made several changes. Although I lost my playmaker for 2 months which is proving a struggle in certain games.
I'm doing a lot better in Europe though and this is down to the formations you face on the continent as they normally differ quite a lot from the domestic scene.

Was awaiting for yr results Cleon and hope to see them soon.
Anyway, I find the wingers with instructions crossing Byline and to Targetman devastating..
However, I can really get the defence right.
As Claude Davis isnt the fastest of player, I play a deep defensive line, but he still keep moving up the field and getting caught when the opponent makes a through ball.
