Well to be honest theres no reason why it shouldnt work if he can head it, it would be interesting to know if the goals were headers. He might have got lucky with tap ins.

Van Buyten was a stricker when he was younger IRL and in the game he has akward in ST possition that's why the AI put him there and may the AI does not have any ather option too.

I'm guessing it's fine as long as you don't ask him to do much - like, say, drop deep and try and grab the ball.

In vers 7.0, Anthony Gardner is way over-rated as center-back and left back but as a Target man he is on a whole other level, betwen the old corner routine of "near post flick on" and playing as a TM he scored 21 goals in 31 games and had an average rating of 8.9 .... but he still did'nt get called into the full england squad.

I used Rob Jones as a Target Man and he scored me 32 goals in a season. I was desperate.
